Dr. Christian Kloß
Being mature means, to be able to take care of yourself.
Christian Kloß is active in the field of COPMI since 2005 and works as a speaker, coach and author since 2007.
In 2005, he founded the first self-helping group for adult COPMI in southwest Germany in Heidelberg (Rhein-Neckar region).
His first workshop was given in 2009 at the first ever event addressing the issue of COPMI in Homburg (Saar), Germany.
Chris is booked for talks, workshops, and advanced training as well as readings. Additionally, he coaches COPMI and professionals alike.
He co-initiated the founding of nationwide active association Seelenerbe e.V. in 2014. He was a member to the board until 2020.
From 2018 until 2020, Chris was a member of advisory boards to research projects D.O.T. and Village, both founded by Austrian based Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft.
Christian is featured in several publications and broadcasting programs addressing #COPMI and writes his blog.
In the videocast Everything but the Kitchen Trauma, he discusses all kinds of questions about traumatization with U.S. psychologist Dr. Ava Pommerenk.
Christian Kloß studied sociology and political sciences at Heidelberg University, Germany and at Cornell University (NY, USA). He holds a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in sociology from Heidelberg University, Germany.
Relief is the most important thing to COPMI.
